Crafting Life's Pieces Challenge #6
Wednesday, October 14, 2009
Good morning everyone,
This morning I have a card to show you that features a stamp from Magnolia. It's a sneak at what one of the new Christmas stamps will be and in my eyes I just think it's so cute and I am loving the long hair, having long hair myself. So I have always wanted to join in with Chelsea over at Crafting Life's Pieces #6 - Owner and Founder of Gurlee Girl stamps.... Have you seen her work? NO, seriously you have to check it out HERE... they are works of art! And her gorgeous teddy bear scrapbooking LO's that she does for charity, what a women! Here is her sketch....

And now ok don't fall off your chair in shock that I actually basically stuck the the rules of this one. But with a sketch like that, wow! So here is what I came up with....

Magnolia Stamps : Yummy Collection : Tins (chocolate tin), Recipe Card. NEW Christmas Magnolia (NOT out yet).
Card Stock : Whisper White and Kraft.
Magnolia Paper : Candy and Blue Candy Plaid.
Flowers and Leaves : Bought from Bizzy Becs

Stash : Lace, White Gel Pen and Cherry Charm.
I know what a tease with the stamp right! I must admit when I first seen her I wasn't to sure on her, but after using her a few times, I'm on love with her and her cute little piggy. I used to collection pig ornaments, many, moons ago now, hahaha.
The weather here of late has been odd, four seasons in one day!? What wil today bring?!
Well nothing else really exciting from me today, better get to the house work and get the girls morning tea ready.
Thanks so much for stopping by and take care xx.

Morning all,
This morning I have another Magnolia DT card for you and I decided to make this one entering a new sketch blog I came across called Get Sketchy! Love it! And also Cute Care Thursday #81. Anything with the word “cute” in it gets my attention, hahaha! The challenge over at Cute Card Thursday is “Charming” so anything with charms on it and Magnolia sent me this cute little BBQ, I wasn’t to sure on it to start with and even known it’s not a blueberry, haha, I really like the added touch, something different. And here is the sketch over at Get Sketchy….

And as always you know I like to add my own little personal touches and mix it up a little….

Card Stock : Supplied by Magnolia.
Magnolia Paper : Blackberries and Blue Berry Dots.
Other : Brads, Flowers, Charm and Ribbon Supplied by Magnolia. Lace from Stash and White Gel Pen.
Inks : Stampin’ Up! Blush Blossom. Distress Ink : Tattered Rose, Antique Linen, Faded Jeans, Frayed Burlap, Worn Lipstick and Brushed Corduroy.
Well best make another coffee and start doing the house work while girls are still sleeping quietly as I know it wont last, haha.
Thanks so much for stopping by and take care xx.

Good morning all,
Well hubby got home in the wee hours of the morning from Bathurst but he had a ball and that’s the main thing. I’m just so glad he’s home, haha I missed him that’s for sure. As corney as this is about to sound we never really spend time apart and if we do it’s usually me going to stamp camps, or something with crafts/stamping, haha. Or staying at Princess’s for the weekend, which is crafts really, lol, NAH we just talk, lol! In fact I think the longest time we were apart was when I went to Stampin’ Up! Convention! And I just find it really hard to sleep with out my electric blanket to snuggle up to, hahaha.
OK so enough corney and onto the card this morning. We here is another DT card for Magnolia from my Magnolia supplies, it’s so funny because I want to say how yummy they are and they are the Yummy Collection! I decided to mix it up with a sketch I just had to play along with over at Stampavie and More and I’m pretty sure it’s my first time playing with this challenge. Here is the sketch…

And then of course here is my almost to the sketch card, hehe…. You know me, like to add my personal touch.

Magnolia Stamps : Chef Tilda, Recipe Card and Cupcake.
Card Stock : Red supplied by Magnolia. Kraft Stampin’ Up!
Paper : Magnolia Papers.
Inks : Stampin’ Up! Marker Blush Blossom and Real Red. Distress Ink Fired Brick, Black Soot, Tattered Rose, Frayed Burlap, Antique Linen and Brushed Corduroy.
Other : Twine and Pins from stash. Red Check Ribbon and Brads supplied in kit.
Well there you have it and this is my very first Tilda with black hair! I always put it off thinking it would be to hard but it hasn’t turned out exactly like I would had liked it to, but still happy with it. AND OK I’ll admit it, I love my distressing tool ok. I just can’t make a card and NOT use it, ever I think, hahaha!
Thanks so much for stopping by and take care xx.
